LRAPER- Catholicos and Sheikh-ul-Islam Meet in Moscow

ISTANBUL, 23 November (Lraper) -- Invited by His Holiness Alexy II,
Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme
Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians, and His Excellency Allah-Shukur
Pashazade, Sheikh-ul-Islam of the Caucasus, will be meeting in the Danilov
Monastery in Moscow on 24 November, Friday. The spiritual leaders will
discuss matters related to their contribution to a peaceful solution of the
Karabagh conflict.
In his homily during Matins on this fourth day of Advent according to the
Armenian calendar, His Beatitude Mesrob II, Armenian Patriarch of Istanbul
and all Turkey, supported the initiative and prayed for the reconciliation
of the peoples of the neighboring Caucasian republics.
