DAY 2
Before starting I wish to extend my condolence to Mr. Samaranch who's
wife lost the battle against cancer.
Mr. Samaranch could not be with his wife because of his duties to the
Olympic movement. Although he hastily departed Sydney unfortunately he
did not arrive in time to say good bye to his wife who passed away.
May God bless Mrs. Maria Theresa Samaranch's soul and give hope and
strength to Mr. Juan Antonio Samaranch. Mr. Samaranch we share your
loss.
