ISTANBUL, 29/05/99 (Lraper) --
His Beatitude Patriarch Mesrob II of Istanbul and all Turkey sent letters of
congratulation to His Excellency Mr. Yildirim Akbulut who was elected last week
as President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and to the ministers who
were appointed to the 57th Government of the Republic of Turkey, headed by His
Excellency Mr. Bulent Ecevit. Patriarch Mesrob wished the statesmen success as
they lead Turkey into the Third Millenium.
Türkiye Ermenileri Patriði 2. Mesrob, TBMM Baþkanlýðý'na seçilen Sayýn Yýldýrým
Akbulut'u ve DSP Genel Baþkaný Bülent Ecevit'in kurduðu, Türkiye'yi 2000'li
yýllara taþýyacak olan 57. Cumhuriyet Hükümeti'ne atanan bakanlarý birer
mektupla kutlayarak, görevlerinde baþarýlar diledi.
